چکیده
Flood occurs as a result of rising global temperatures, more precipitation, increased runoff, and an increase in the rate urban flooding. The goal this research is to calculate flood risk assessment selected catchment Nigerian metropolis Uyo. Secondary data were obtained from Landsat images study area using correlational design. Using supervised categorization landuse area, watershed pattern, landuse/landcover, inundation level determined area's Digital Elevation Model. also used GIS-assisted computer simulation storm water created by enhanced DEM assess function landuse/landcover change. Storm generation assessment, modeling, land cover inundation, evaluation flash susceptibility modeled among hydrological models techniques analyze data. findings revealed that Uyo has number streams with varying flow lengths. 21 sub-basins, according study. In uyo, total runoff was greater (0.74) inches. Uyo, change behavior, such node flooding, time day, whereas volume varied somewhat. hydrograph not wider because sections metropolitan prone moderate high floods higher (78.03 percent ). Based on these findings, suggests better city design needed control impact flooding area. To prevent loss life property, areas vulnerability should be closely monitored secured.

Urban pluvial flood risk assessment based on scenario simulation
In this study, urban pluvial flood risk is studied in an actual study area using scenario simulation method based on hydrodynamics. Real weather data and GIS (Geographic Information System) data are adopted to make the results reliable. A region in Haidian District of Beijing is selected as the study area. All the rainfall scenarios (about 200 scenarios) during an 8-year period (from January 1,...
